There are several ways that you can make a donation.
Direct Gift. You can make gifts of cash (check or credit card), stocks, bonds, real estate or other assets to the foundation. We can also receive direct payments from your IRA as a qualified charitable distribution (if eligible). We are a 501(c)(3) organization, which means your donation will qualify for the maximum tax benefit under state and federal law.
Deferred Gift. Deferred gifts, or bequests, allow you to designate a gift or portion of your estate to the Foundation, and, in some cases, receive substantial reductions in federal gift & estate taxes.
At the Cottage Grove Community Foundation, we value all charitable donations, large or small. Your willingness to support YOUR community according to your interests and ability to give is at the heart of our mission to make personal philanthropy of community needs. All donations are welcome, regardless of size.
